Cynthia Ambrose has been a teacher, assistant principal, principal, and district administrator in public schools in South Carolina and Virginia.   She currently serves as the Executive Director for the Low Country Education Consortium in the Charleston, SC Metro Region.  A trained Baldridge National Examiner, she has long had an interest in criteria, assessments, tools and training components of continuous improvement models and their impact on schools and districts.  As a result of her work with Baldrige the districts in which she has worked developed processes and protocols for increased accountability and efficiency.   An advocate of harnessing technology to design and deliver personalized instruction, she has worked to launch virtual and online learning programs in three large school systems.
